This program is specifically designed to offer training tips and techniques for individuals at all skill levels. Come and learn the proper form and techniques for lifting. This will improve your training, prevent injury, and increase performance.

To secure your place in this program, payment is due at the time of registration.  If you are unable to make a full payment at the time of registration, please contact our Membership Services department by calling 403-942-5757 or by email us at [email protected].


In order to receive member pricing, the membership must remain in effect for the duration of the program.  Should the participant cancel their membership prior to the end of the program, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires the participant to pay the difference between the member and the non-member pricing to continue in the program


Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a full refund, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires cancellations to be made at least 7 days prior to the program start date. Should the participant cancel within the week before the start date, cancellations will be prorated. Prorating is depending on time before program start date.

Want to learn how to effectively and safely perform the big three lifts? Then this program is for you!

This 4-week program offers tips, tricks, and techniques to improve your compound lifts. Each week will have a different focus, ensuring to cover mobility, and the big three (squats, deadlifts, and bench press). The trainer will take you through each movement and provide coaching to ensure you feel more confident and comfortable.


  • Week 1: Mobility focus
    • How to properly warm up
    • Work on essential mobility for performing compound lifts
  • Week 2: Squat focus
  • Week 3: Bench focus
  • Week 4: Deadlift focus
